Responding

Keith Jarvis's blog "Just one drink to numb the pain" resonates with my sensibilities about writing as well (Jarvis). I feel that he could be reading my mind. Yet, he is much more creative in his response than I feel that I am. Although, I do not equate writing with "breathing in a paper bag"; I do equate it with the breathing heavy, sweating, old fashioned panic attack (Jarvis). I hope that this thought and sensation will be squashed with a light breeze of sleeping in a hammock feeling. I am in agreement with him when my son would ask me how to spell or the correct punctuation when he was younger, I would inform him to ask his mother. She is a teacher. Now that he is older he automatically asks his mother on topics of writing and social sciences, but he will come to me with math. I sure hope that the panic attack sensation will change in response to writing on creative topics and blogging.
